“We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give.” --Attributed to Winston Churchill
Making a difference in our world through charitable giving has been proven to stimulate pleasure circuits in the brain with a “warm glow” like no other activity can. That’s right, not even that activity. Altruism makes the world around us a better place, while it puts our minds and bodies in a better place. So, don’t give until it hurts—give until it feels good. Glowingly good. You can do well in life and do good in life: success and significance, profit and purpose. They can, and do, go hand in hand.
